Considering that this is an opposition (SDP) rally, and going by WP standard, looks like not that many in the crowd leh. I can still see a lot of grass on the field.

Or maybe just like PAP rallies, crowd size is no indication at all of votes obtained on Polling day?

So what are the chances of Dr Chee and team being voted into Parliament on 11 Sep? Or will it be a replay of what happened to Tan Jee Say and team in GE 2011?

What do you think?

If I were Dr Chee, I will be very happy if my team can receive 40+ % of the votes.

Because it is a great improvement from previous results in which SDP and I contested, even though still cannot win after more than 20 years leading the SDP.

Don't know why leh, somehow I feel a bit turn-off by Dr Chee's trademark wide grin. Wider than it should be.

Do you feel the same?

A man of substance who wants to better Singapore and the lives of Singaporeans. I have great respect for this man. Hope he does well in this GE and maybe one day he will get to a position where his voice can be heard. Good luck Dr. Chee

The unthinking daft will vote based on the look, rumours and the smile on the face.
The thinking will vote for what the man wants to do, his values and principles.

Chua Chu Kang is an ulu area with the people spread quite widely. Last night at Commonwealth you could see and feel the crowd supporting this man. He is in, he will be in Parliament.

The PAP camp who were snooping around would have frightening feedback to their masters.

The people have turned against PAPsmear.
They rather believe in Dr Chee than PAPsmear.

Looks like an ordinary, happy Sinkie family.

Heard that Mrs Chee is not working, while Dr Chee earns a living hawking his books. Wonder how the Chee family can cope with the high cost of living in Sinkieland and yet remain happy?

Maybe Dr Chee at his next SDP rally can share some tips how he did it? I think a lot of suffering Sinkies badly need such tips and also will be most happy to hear it.

Tiok.

I think a lot of Sinkies really need such "How to cope with high cost of living and be happy" tips from Dr Chee,

and which is also much more useful than Dr Chee speaking on national and bigger issues for them in Parliament,

which I think PAP will also not listen anyway.

Answer: Chose carefully and marry a highly qualified woman, who is willing to stand behind you all the way, bring and educate your children and overlook your faults. Chee Soon Juan, one real blessed guy. Million dollars pay cannot compare to such a wife.

Dr Chee, for such a wife, my vote to you!

Of course happy. Money no problem. He's been paid off by pap. Obviously.

Who is more powderful?
Dr Chee's wife or LHL's wife?
Which one cost the Singapore Reserves more money to maintain?

What about your wife or your mother?

SDP is fast gaining the reputation for being the most promising opposition party (with WP as the most popular opposition party).

The mood at the SDP rally that I attended at Commonwealth Field last Saturday was great, with the speakers able to engage the audience minds and hearts while not making their speeches boring with good jokes in between.

If ever there is a team ready to go into parliament and be productive from Day 1, it is the SDP team. The have been developing alternate policies for so long. I recalled LSL wants to increase our productivity. Please help to fulfill his wish.

Vote SDP!
