World’s 4 'most peace loving' countries signing military pacts

The world’s four ‘most peace loving’ countries have been going around signing military pacts and buying and selling arms to one another, all in the name of advancing regional peace and stability. The US, Japan, India and Australia, have been very busy inking defence agreements. The latest by Modi and Abbott, ‘They agreed to hold regular meetings at the level of the Defence Minister, conduct regular maritime exercises and convene regular navy to navy, air force to air force and army to army staff talks.’

On the other the ‘most belligerent country’ China according to the West, has been going around the world signing trade pacts and free trade agreements, the latest with Australia and the state of Tasmania.
Countries signing trade pacts are offensive and dangerous. Military pacts are peaceful, friendly and for peace. Just believe the western media and the Empire and their cronies and you will have world peace. Don’t believe in countries that go around to trade and promote economic growth.

India got no money and time to build Smart Cities but got a lot of time and money to buy and build more submarines to tell the world the Indian Ocean belongs to India and no one can come in and practising big power hegemony in South Asia. At the same time it is conducting war games in East China Sea and South China Sea. All very friendly acts, to promote peace and stability. No need to mention what the Americans and the Japanese are doing. Australia thinks and acts as the sheriff of South East Asia. Just wondering when would it be overrun by Indonesia.

There are seven natural openings in the head and body. A politician is the only human being with eight. The extra one is a slot to store money in, should his bank be unable to hold all of it.
With apologies to WC Fields.

Unfortunately Aust has never had a govt as "sensible" as Singapore's PAP, and the fucking govt can change every 4 years, so you can kiss long term policy and planning goodbye. Singapore is light years ahead i this area: you can plan, you know the govt is going to be such and such. You know their philosophy-- even if you disagree with them.

Things changed when we got Bob Hawke and Paul Keating as our PMs. All of a sudden, Aust was a global player in international affairs. You're talking about a rich but financially irresponsible cuntry full of dickheads who like to earn big money for very little productivity, drink to excess, fuck each other's spouses and have a good time without earning the right to do so.

And now, because their "big brother", the United States commands them, they've allowed themselves to become a PROXY in the Far East. Aust has fighting forces in the Middle East and Afghanistan? WHY? Because Daddy Bush and Obama asked them to do so.

Since Obama-Kerry have HUGE HARDONS for Asia, Aust is right there getting into the action.

However, the Sheeple get the govt they deserve, thus Aust deserves that asshole Abbot to drag them into oblivion, whilst we still enjoy the privilege of being highly taxed for generations to come to pay for all this SHIT.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing good to say about Aust system of governance, but I do immensely ENJOY living here and making frequent jaunts to Hotel Singapore, Rest House Malaysia, and Massage Parlour Thailand and Indonesia. ;-)

Australia is vast country of 7,692,024 km2 with so much precious minerals underground. With a sizable population of 23,684,000 generating a huge $1.483 trillion economy.

None of the 10 asean countries many with a much larger population Except Indonesia with its sheer population 10 times larger and a gdp as big as australia.

Sure, we have lots of shit in the ground. But to make money you have to take the shit out, and that requires not only capital and superb engineering, but PERMISSION.

As soon as you want to mine something, the Greenies and the Aboriginals are there to stop you....or put their hands out to demand "compensation".

ASEAN not so bad: good place to do business. There is also sizable of natural resources, but many of the ASEAN govts and business are at least FORWARD LOOKING and MODERN THINKING. Proof of these traits can be observed in the massive amount of upward social mobility in ASEAN.

SE Asia was once the poorest region of the world -- poorer than even Africa, and exploited by corrupt rulers and foreign interlopers.

Now we're the fucking kings.

Living well is the best revenge!

Nearly every cuntree in ASEAN is a NET EXPORTER of capital. We're keeping those over-spending motherfuckers of the west afloat by lending our hard-earned savings so that they can afford their comfortable lifestyles and fake democracies.

No, Aust GDP is 1.5 trillion, Indonesia is close to 1 trillion (~0.9)

But Aust has plenty of DEBT, and keeps borrowing and borrowing plus tax people left right and centre.

ASEAN is growing. Europe--fucked . USA-fucked. ASEAN lah. THAT'S where the action is.

Indonesian with its steady growth should hit 1 trillion mark by 2015. but Australian still 500B ahead that difference already dwarf SG economy.

Australia and Canada remarkable similarities. Large swathe of land 7,692,024 km2 and 9,984,670 km2 respectively, abundant minerals, still not a republic with a colonial head of state, 1.5 & 1.7 trillion gdp resp,AND asian population 12% & 14.2 respectively.

is this a co-incident?

Sick-in-the-head monkey who think it is God. It would be funny if it's not such a sad case of inferiority complex. The more you try the more you expose the chips on your shoulders.

Monkey god is trying to prove a point by changing avatar. Tries to shock but alas it backfires.

Hahah, Matilah, you got inferiority complex. I was trying to figure out why you are hiding behind all the vulgarities and arrogance, and finally anon 3:27 nailed it.

Inferiority complex, attention deficit, oops, needs attention to feel secure : )

In more ways than you've described. For e.g. they are both still members of the British Commonwealth -- which is so impotent it only exists in NAME nowadays.

>> is this a co-incident?

Yes. Most definitely. However our pattern-seeking brains will play tricks on us to suggest that there are some "underlying causes" to make these 2 cuntrees appear to be so "similar".
