Teo Ser Luck apologised on Facebook

This is reported in the main media. ‘Mr Teo also apologized on Facebook to the YMCA: “The protestors were going after me but it affected the children and the event . For this I feel sorry and would apologise to YMCA and the children for this inconvenience caused because of my presence.”’ And in response to Roy Ngerng’s offer to apologise to the children, Ser Luck said it was a step forward. Then he added that Roy had spoilt the day for the children and , ‘For sure you have to apologise and more!’

Ser Luck did not explain what is the meaning of ‘more’. Is he saying apology must also explain? But Roy has already explained and not accepted. He had dismissed Roy’s explanation that he ‘didn’t know what was going on the stage’. So the best thing for Roy to do is to go and ask Ser Luck what is ‘more’ and what is enough or can be accepted. If Roy were to do the same and apologise on his Facebook, I think this way sure cannot.

It was gracious for Ser Luck to apologise to YMCA. It was also good for him to clarify that the protestors were there protesting to him and not to heckle the children. But in doing so they did frighten some of them and spoilt their day.

For those boys and girls screaming that the protestors were there to heckle the children, I think Ser Luck being the main target of their protest, is telling exactly what it was all about. Would this put an end to the ‘heckle’ accusation?

The Americans would say the affected children were collateral damages as they were not the target or the issue. Still it is good for Roy and Hui Hui to make an apology for interrupting their performance. But this part is very difficult. How? Put up a one page apology in the newspaper, as putting up on their Facebook would not likely to be accepted. I can’t advise them on this. And the best person is Ser Luck. Go ask Ser Luck what does he want in the apology before he can accept it, or what is the best way to apologise.

As for the parents of the children, it has been reported that they declined to meet Roy. What’s next?

Roy & HHH chants/shouts of 'Return our CPF"
- This one can frighten children
- this is heckling

THEN WHAT ABOUT?
----------------
PAP supporters chants/shouts of "We Love Our CPF"
- This cannot frighten children meh?
- this is not heckling meh?

One law for slaves?
Another law for PAPigs?

Did Teo Ser Luck stand up on stage to tell everybody "Please be quiet. You are ALL scaring the children"
This also cannot do.
Do you think Teo Ser Luck can protect our CPF money from a rogue government?

Anonymous said...

Please lah, the protestors did not go there to disturb the children lah. They heckled Teo Ser Luck but the children happened to be nearby.

Raymond said...

Yea, but what about you?

Have you apologized for heckling those children yet?

Stunning Drone Footage Shows Just How Enormous The Hong Kong Protests Really Are:

http://www.businessinsider.sg/stunning-drone-footage-shows-just-how-enormous-the-hong-kong-protests-really-are-2014-9/#.VCpSFRaGfDg

Those Hongkies can really protest.
Compared to Hong Kong, what is Hong Lim Square?
A small little protest in Hong Lim Park.
A little bit of noise.
And all the PAP MPs and Ministers kpkb in the internet and Straits Times.

Yes or No? - PAP Ministers Are Champion Complainers.

I guess we will now have to increase the pay of our PAP Millionaires to compensate them for their "sacrifices" at managing the unruly Singaporean population.
And Teo Ser Luck gets an extra month bonus for his hazardous job at Hong Lim Park.

Are PAP politicians overpaid for doing very little work?

Hi anon 2.58

Hong Kongers fighting for right to vote their candidates and not nominated yes men/women from PRC.

They have yet been a NNation and see how united they are.

Sinkies on their hand been given a choice to choose those who can serve them instead chose those to be their Masters and enslaved them.

What pathetic sheepie people led by the noses to be slaughtered and told whrn to stand and sit.

Forty five into NS slept together in barracks, drenched in sweat and blood in trenches in rain and shine under the sun and moon.

Yet, we are like sand disunited and sabo each other and even our own kind.

No wonder LKY called us dafts to be put into pockets.

Just a few hundreds turn up in protest rallies and a little noise startled the little children.

What if the turnout are like the Hong Kongers and the Thais, many would be shocked to death???

We are been deceived by the Special Needs Ministers and the MPs.

Even sold out by the Workers Party MPs.

Teo Ser Luck stood bravely against a hostile crowd to protect the special needs children.

He is our hero.

Virgo 49 said...

PAP supporters shouted we love our CPF startled many Singaporeans with special needs and also those without.

Can we demanded an apology from them for bringing our stress levels and blood pressure to records high???

一山不容二虎,such incident can be avoided if only one is competent enough and can foresee, to know the consequence and whether to allow such protest to be carried out on this same day,and take precaution on the safety and security procedure.,unless such protest is unexpected or can be carried without getting a permit.
Just wonder why YMCA did not get security personnel for crowd control which I thought its a must for such event with such crowd.

Just feel that such incident only make me feel very shameful as a Sinkie.
This incident only paint a bad picture of the one in charge of the park,YMCA and sadly,TSL.
Ah Roy and HHH have nothing to lose even if they apologize.
Too much a price to pay,to ask for apology.

Roy and Han should have back off when they understand that another event is taking place involving kids. This will gain points and improve their social image. Unfortunately, they let such a golden opportunity to slip pass and did damage instead.

b said...

Anyway, no point protesting/fighting for sinkies. They deserve/entitle to whatever the papists throw to them since they have chosen them many times over.

Anonymous said...

But I like to fight for sinkies, cannot meh? The trend now is to fight for poorer sinkies. Who knows, I can get into Parliament under whichever party is fashionable.

Anonymous said...

Of course Ser Luck should apologise. If not, Roy and Hui Hui meh?

Anonymous said...

Roy and Hui hui fight for us, return our money, why must they apologise ? They are doing MUCH MUCH better than the opposition party in parliament now who are enjoying their $15000 every month.

Anonymous said...

‘Ms Han Hui Hui explained to The Real Singapore that shortly before the event, she was told by both the Police and NParks that she should cancel her event or postpone it despite the fact that she had gotten her police approvals and permits to hold the protest at Hong Lim Park on this day and time weeks earlier.’
A simple and annoying question, if the Police and NParks wanted Han Hui Hui to cancel her event or postpone to another day, why approved it in the first place? Was it not easier not to approve the event and let Han Hui Hui apply for another date? Then we would not have this unpleasant event happening. Or did someone panic at the last hour knowing that things can go wrong?

MFA travel notice for Singaporeans to PROTEST SITES IN HK.

PLS READ 1ST PARAGRAPH LAST SENTENCE IN THE NOTICE QUOTED BELOW.

WHY SINGAPOREANS ARE ADVISED TO STAY AWAY FROM PROTEST SITES FROM ONE MINISTRY ( MFA ) BUT ANOTHER MINISTRY ( MEWR ) DID THE REVERSE IN HLP AND ALLOW THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO GO HLP AND WORST STILL SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN?

Can somebody in the government body care to EXPLAIN TO BAFFLED SINGAPOREANS WHY SUCH TWO OPPOSITE AND CONTRASTING POSITION TAKEN?

Pls make it clear once and for all whether to avoid or " cheong to protest sites, worst still transport innocent, special needs children to such places.

Must tell sinkies once and for all

"AI HUM" OR "MAI HUM"?

This is VERY CONFUSING!!!

What if injuries happen or lives threatened?

Whose fault?

Whose responsibilities?

If sinkies never heed advise and get injured in HK protest sites, whose fault? The protesters or sinkies?

If children ferried down to HLP get "frigthened" by loud headers, whose fault?

Has logic been turned on its head by some PAPER GENERALS?

If YEW agree, pls KEE CHIU?

Hope those responsible are not acting like "MOM-MY BOY" hiding under the table or his mother's skirt?

I'm surprise that Red Bean has stood in silent letting the special needs being called IQ low and all those cunt words, I really hope your future generation will all be special needs, you really deserve it.

That's why we are different, cause we can't see through our anger and fears, for all those that did not bother to read up and has no idea of what special needs stand for, they are sceptical to noise not all of them but many of them.
And they can IQ higher than theses stupid monkeys here bad mouthing them.

People, there are more than one way to skin a cat, she was given a choice to move a distant away and I really dun see that million people standing there waiting to hear what was to be said, please idiots, have some compassion, for heaven sake.

Anonymous said...

The issue should not be side tracked!

If the authority doesn't see any problem having special needs children at a protest site or approving both events in the same venue and overlapping time, why don't they ferry the kids now to HK protest sites and later claim the kids are frightened by the protesters?

Can this logic hold water?

Are sinkies paying way way too much for some people who does not seem to have IQ beyond 80?

Shouldn't they be sacked by sinkies?

What do YEW say, RB?

Tio bor?

The Chinese have a saying:

" 胡作非为".

Anonymous said...

Anon 8.45pm.
How is your IQ, obviously below 80 too, right!
If all they do is Yap and yap, please la, any where is ok.

Sure or not?
Where is your photographic or video evidence?

All I heard was the heckling of PAP supporters; "We love our CPF"
And those chants scared the children.
I also saw a photo of Teo Ser Luck taking a selfie with some kids.
I didn't see a photo of Teo Ser Luck trying to tell his PAP supporters to stop scaring the children with their "We love our CPF" chants.

// If all they do is Yap and yap, please la, any where is ok.//

Your IQ probably is sub zero.

If any where also ok, why is CSJ charged and jailed previously?

If YEW cannot explain it, that speaks volume of your presumed IQ?

Btw RB, besides special needs children, some people might accused other people of "heckling some sub normal IBs"?

Sinkieland really getting worst and worst?

No standard?

Even IBs also very JIATLAT?

Anonymous said...

Please do not insult the IBs here. Their IQ is low but not that low. Their problem is the misplaced heart. When they touch their hearts they are groping for money.

Anonymous said...

The idiot baboon's are the ones that are bad mounting the special needs and side tracking, the issue is cpf, nothing to do with their IQ's, of special needs, so there's no need to say anything bad about them.

Anonymous said...

Since the issue is on the CPF, why has the special needs has to be so cruelty insulted, having a low IQ, paying too much, what ill forgotten monster can think of such words to say.

Anonymous said...

Knn ... I fucked, I make love, I screwed, I soikan....

Yes... these r retarded, sub iq, sub normal ,

Made used by people for personal agendas

Fuck u... u r no saint

Anonymous said...

Obviously the IBs are quite low IQ and quite poor in English as well?

IBs, if YEW want to come here and discuss issues, pls DUN TRY to put WORDS into other's mouth!

Pls dun try to muddy the issues on hand and shoot off the tangent!

IBs, if YEW can't understand simple English or set on twisting issues all over the place to try wriggle out, it simply confirmed YEW are cmi or your stand and argument cannot hold water.

Now 2 issues should be addressed:

1) CPF - retirement fund and medical fund. When is NOT considered raining day? Why is so much money being held back in medisave even for hospitalisation and surgery even at very old age? If at VERY OLD AGE, for critical surgery and necessary hospital, medisave still cannot touch to cover the bills, then what is the purpose of medisave? Just to enrich the insurers? Why is medisave being held back for oldies to pay hospitalisation and surgery bills?

2) Why put special needs children in harm's way?
If ministries such as MFA think it is not "ADVISABLE" to travel to countries with protests,

" Singaporeans should avoid the crowd and demonstrations.",

" Singaporeans travelling to or residing in Hong Kong should monitor the local news and developments closely and heed the instructions of local authorities. They should take all necessary precautions for personal safety, including purchasing comprehensive travel and medical insurance."

" In addition, Singaporeans travelling to or residing in Hong Kong are encouraged to eRegister with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg to facilitate contact should the need arise ........ " )

Why are the special needs children being ferried to a protest site?

Why approve both events at same venue, same time when a protest site is:

1) considered hazardous as implied in MFA's travel notice to HK and therefore protest sites are " to be avoided"?

2) MFA advised that " necessary precautions for personal safety, including purchasing comprehensive travel and medical insurance." should be taken?

3) situations warrant close monitoring and the need to " eRegister with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs "?

So similarly why are special needs children FERRIED to a protest site in HLP?

Why are both events approved at same time, same venue?

If past events held together in HLP did not cause problems, what were those events? Are they "PROTEST" in nature? What KIND of scholars' logic to conclude that when past events are held together in HLP did not cause any issue, THEN IT CAN BE CONCLUDED THAT holding an event with a protest is "SAFE"? Worst still the event involved "special needs children"? Are these the type of logic scholars have?

Pls try address above issues and not make ANYMORE ad hominen arguments here such as those in some of above comment posts.

Sinkies are losing more and more confidence, trust and hope if IBs like YEW in the above several anon comments come here to make ad hominen remarks and constantly shoot off the tangent.

Now nobody here is commenting on the special needs children. Anon 10.35 pm and 10.40 pm obviously is/ are the one(s) insulting them. Who are the monster(s) insulting the special needs?

Rb, mb there are several groups of special needs in sinkieland ..........

Perhaps YEW can help to define them properly say special needs CATEGORY A, B, C ........ X, Y, Z and avoid some people muddying special needs children with say special needs IBs, special needs ivory towers residents etc ........

Anonymous said...

There's only one word for you......gullible, they apologise using the special needs as front and dumb ass like you fell for it, again the cause is lost with ppl like you.

Special needs, category???, up to now no one can categorise them as each and every child is different, that's why the word, "special needs". Please read up, you'll sounding more stupid by the minute.

CPF and special needs are totally different issue, that minister should have gotten up from his butt and did something about it, what's the point of any apology, using the special needs its just totally not right, absurd excuse to win votes.

Hongkee just learning wat/how democracy. CPF is no issue. "Return our CPF" has no basis. Our CPF is still there and well-guarded against corruption and misuse. Find other new issues pls.

Here are some things that do not fit (in my humble opinion):

1, "The Commissioner reserves the right to cancel any approval or disallow any event or activity at any time without prior notice in the event of any breach of or non-compliance with ..."

https://www.nparks.gov.sg/cms/docs/speakers_terms_n_conditions.pdf
Is the man in video NParks' Commissioner, Dr LEONG Chee Chiew? Cos only he can say what is allowed or disallowed in Nparks. http://www.mnd.gov.sg/urbansustainability/2011/images/speakers/chiew.jpg

2. It is pretty odd that when NParks is on the verge of revoking the license (or simply to tell her that her designated area to use for the protest), they needed to bring along that many police officers.

She has all rights to know who these officers are, does she not?

3. Additionally, I believe that was the Investigating Officer's staff card. A search warrant is a paper signed by the courts and I do not see it.

4. HHH did give her word that she would accept revocation of her license or the official change of designated spots for the protest on 2 terms:
a. They are to email her to inform her officially.
b. That they show proof that it is against the law to use the area outside of YMCA's designated area.

5. "YMCA did not change any plans." Really? No one noticed they changed their timing from 10am to 4pm and that is why suddenly NParks had suddenly appeared to HHH to inform her where she can not use?

6. However, I agree that they had heckled YMCA's event, I just do not agree that the D.S. children had been traumatized in any way.

Nparks was prepared with police etc but not prepared with questions pertaining to their regulations. Isn't this really odd?

Hmmmm.....
