Chennai Industrial Park

There was a programme on the Tianjin Eco City on CNA last evening. In a piece of waste land, a lake used for dumping industrial waste, up rose a sparkling clean eco city, a joint venture between China and Singapore. The infrastructure was first class, like a super condominium but at least a hundred times bigger in size. The roads and buildings were many times better than our best and newest new towns in Punggol or Sengkang. It was like a modern new suburb in the western world.

Tianjin Eco City easily outclassed the first industrial town built in Suzhou, the Suzhou Industrial Park. I think this is a great expertise of ours that can be easily replicate in other countries. Vietnam is getting one and I think India is getting one soon. The Vietnamese do not need much convincing to want their industrial park Made in Singapore.

The Indians may need more convincing as the project does not seem to be moving, or has it been moving that I don’t know. If convincing is necessarily, actually we have a perfect model of a modern Indian industrial park right in our little island. I have been told many times that the Changi Industrial Park is every inch like an Indian Industrial Park with Indian companies and Indian workers forming the majority of the companies and residents in the Park. It would be a good idea if the govt could invite the Indian leaders to visit the Chennai Industrial Park to take a look at what future modern Indian industrial parks would look like. Oops, I mean Changi Industrial Park.

This Changi/Chennia Industrial Park could be a big tourist attraction for Singaporeans to want to have a feel and taste of what an Indian Industrial Park looks like without flying to India. And Indian tourists, not necessary just the Indian politicians, can be arranged to tour to this Park, a model on which future Indian industrial parks would be like. I am sure they would be very impressed by what they see in Changi/Chennai. And the residents in Changi/Chennai Industrial Park could bear testimony to the good life here, the great and modern facilities that they have come to live with and enjoyed that they could not find anything better in India. Maybe I am wrong and there are better and more modern Indian Industrial Parks than the Changi/Chennia model.

But that is not all. Even if the Indian govt could replicate the physical part of the Park. What they could not easily replicate is the software, the ease of doing business the Singapore way. This is the trump card of Changi/Chennai Industrial Park. Singapore and the Indian govt could have a long list of cooperation in building more industrial parks in India if the Indian govt could come and see it for themselves. It is already there, a working model with many Indian companies and a nearly all Indian workforce.

Our community centres and Residents Committee now have a new place to visit for their constituents. It would certainly be a wonderful experience to be in Mumbai or Chennai in Singapore. Come and visit our Indian Industrial Park at Changi.

Seems to me the Indian gahmen needs to learn how to open their legs.
Do you think opening legs is a core expertise of our PAP gahmen?

I believe the bottomline is Changi Industrial Park certainly helps to achieve GDP growth.

If it so happens that foreigners of certain nationalities are the majority or practically all of staff in companies there, so be it lah.

Because there is nothing much Sinkies can do, as God make it that way. Sinkies would have prefer themselves or even whites as majority staff there, but unfortunately God did not give Sinkies enough power and talents to be there. Or make whites available to be there.

Only prostitutes open legs. They will open other people's legs.

Readbean,

OT-

Love your F16 you got. I was "probably" the first and only Singaporean licensed and worked on the B747 in late 69's, probably the 4th B747 by Boeing and later the "first" on McDonald Douglas DC-10. I was also one of the engineers refurbished Douglas A4S in Seleter. Where were you than, Readbean?

God make Sinkieland an island of only 700 sq km.

God also make Sinkies.

And Sinkies make PAP the best available party to be govt and WP the strongest opposition but not ready to be govt.

In other words, God make Sinkies the way Sinkies are.

Hi JC, I was at SAMCO in Seletar and Paya Lebar in the late 80s and we were refurbishing the A4s : )

Did we cross each other or miss each other in Seletar?

How could the govt allowed foreign companies to employ 80 or 90 percent foreigners or more?

We don't need these companies. They are not providing jobs to the citizens but wasting our land and other resources and used up our precious space and infrastructure.

Redbean,

I didn't stayed long. You were on the tail end after all the designed and engrg worked completed and SAMCO took over from us the last batches? We also upgraded the Hawker Hunter too.

I was the PM there and we would have met. Timing. You should have known Berlin.

Attention Pro Nuclear PAPigs
=============================

In the course of a decade, Germany has transformed itself into a green energy powerhouse. On Oct. 3, for instance, nearly 60% of the electricity generated in Germany came from wind farms and rooftop solar panels. That’s pushing fossil fuels off the grid and utility profits off a cliff. Utility EON’s profit is expected to fall 40% this year, according to Bloomberg, and it and other traditional power producers are moving to shut down coal and natural gas-fired power plants.

Redbean,

I didn't read carefully. "Late?” I was long gone, in my 4th career changed. "Berlin" Sound familiar but cannot place him. Than you should know a Malay Production Controller. This chap really pitiful, ended up at my 3nd career changed - security guard and kenna charged for stealing from the workshop.

Back to politic... in all my years whatever positions, I remain true to my principal never voted for the PAP, unlike many Sinkies, they're worst than pigs.

We will have either kopi or steak together one day.. :-)

Yep there was a time lapse and the twain never met: ) Berlin was the Aircraft manager involved with the Skyhawks. No I couldn't remember the production controller.

The bad things about local politics today is that the govt still did not get it. They did not know that they have messed up the people's life so badly and still continue with the bad formula.

2016 could see their biggest shock defeat that they think will not happen.

How did you guys refurbish the SkyHawk that it keeps dropping of the sky???? That I had to walk away after some friends died in crashes in the mid 80s????

Firstly, ahneh elites are more cunning. Why waste money and effort to build when can just go and take over easily from some dumb gahmen cheaply and effortlessly? Secondly, ahneh elites will not allow their low caste people to come into any contact with improved technologies and thinking so they can stay high caste forever.

But the dumbest, are still those voters who put their blind trust on a pack of wolves.

Hi Anon 11:12, that was a frightening time for Skyhawk pilots. But air crashes could be due to many other reasons than just the aircraft. Unless there is confirmation that the crash is due to aircraft or engine parts malfunction. It could be due to pilot error, environment or the elements.
