Philippines the most powerful American colony

It was only a couple of decades back that the Pinoys exerted their independence and national pride by kicking out their colonial master, the Americans, from Subic and Clark Air Base. Today the Pinoys are reasserting any kind of independence and national pride by willingly offering their military bases to the Americans again and also to invite their WW2 invader, the Japanese, to base in the Philippines. Both the trigger happy cowboys and the blood letting samurais are welcomed with open arms by the equally trigger happy Pinoys.

And the Pinoys can now claim to be the most powerful American colony in the world and are ready to go to war with China. They are now the point man of the Empire, with unlimited supply of military weapons. And the Japanese have also vowed to fight beside them.

Japan is now on a military expansionary path towards Asia and SE Asia. It is pushing ahead with its remilitarization and with the connivance and blessing of the Americans. They are burning their pacifist constitution and shedding the mask of being a decent and non aggressive military power. Japan has rearmed and will resume its military past that it has never given up.

The East and South China Seas are about to go up in flames. And the Chinese are prepared for it. China has announced its interests in the South China Sea islands as non negotiable and will go to war if necessary, even against the combined forces of the Empire, Japan and the most powerful American colony.

The American pivot and intrusion into Southeast Asia is going to bear fruit. How many SE Asian countries will be drawn into this coming war? Wherever the Americans make their presence, be sure war will follow.

Shameless Philippines. Kicking out the US when nationalistic. Now, with tail between their legs, or opening their legs, shamelessly invite the US to be their colonial master again, just so that it can chok-chok China.

The Pinoy mentality is like that. Out to find trouble and now got suck into a bigger whirlpool and cannot get out. So die die want to play with China without knowing that it is biting a piece that is too big to swallow.

Who cares? Or rather which Sinkie will care or be bothered?

Most Sinkies will be concerned because Pinoys and India Indians can speak English and are available in large numbers to do a lot of jobs in Sinkieland. Expecially for service type jobs eg nursing, telemarketers, technicians, operators, hotel, banking services and even as maids. And at cheaper wages too, so Sinkies not only outnumbered but are also priced out of the job market in their own Sinkieland. And Sinkies deserved this because they are not able to form a party stronger and better than PAP to rule them.

Can speak English?

If they feel like it, even Tagalog or Hindi. No better than PRCs who speak all Mandarin with a slang.

So as to make Sinkies catch no ball, even if scolded. Sinkies can speak Singlish, which sometimes also make others catch no ball.

They are having a major naval excercise 8,000 personnel with US near the islands of dispute, ren-ai reefs.

China is very firm on the Diaoyu Islands, Japan some more a US ally, and all the 'enemy' advanced ships only nearby at Okinawa.

Off course Pinoy has no choice. It grabs whatever it can to ward off the Chinese for now.

The thing is which country dare to fire the first missile?

Anonymous said...

Indian navy which is already in the South China seas and eventually will dock in the Pinoys wharves and should not come as a surprise.

Philippines then would be opening its arms to welcome India's aircraft carrier, guided missile destroyers, frigates, nuclear attack submarine, corvettes etc

China sure jump

What better way to have a little power and prestige by following the gang leader. That is what joining gangs are for and you need to join the gang that has the most clout.

The Japs hope to be the master of Asia again, backed by the Master of the Universe. The Pinoys are hoping to be do the same among the Asean nations, backed again by the same Master of the Universe. Together they are conducting another military exercise around the disputed South China Sea area. Not another provocation, they say. A Chinese patrol boat around the area and they start shouting provocation. Fuck the lapdog Pinoys and their Master.

Screw the Pinoys. They can'teven control a hijack of a bus in Manila. Thinking of fighting a war? Stupid dicks.

Right bro, PRC will make minced meats out of the Yankees, Japs and the Pinoys.

The Yankees can stirred shit at the middle eastern countries but they had a deep fear of the yellow skinned Vietnamese, the Koreans, Chinese. They had bitter lessons of the past to remind them of not been invincible.

North Korea will not stand by idle and may joined the PRC just like in the Korean War where the PRC helped them.

Ask the Americans what was their experience fighting the Chinese? They were bashed by the Chinese so badly that they dared not talk about it. That is why the Chinese called the Americans paper tiger. Only know how to bully the Arabs and the Middle Eastern countries.

And with the Chinese backing, the Vietnamese also kicked their asses. The Americans have very bad experience fighting the Asians, from the Koreans, the Japs, the Chinese and the Vietnamese.

Anon 8:07,

By the tone of your post you must be a Pinoy. How much of your DNA is Chinese and how much Spanish or Americano and how much Pinoy?

Are you one of those bred by the Pinoy Chinese?

I am sure you will notice the distinct Pinoy characteristics even among the Chinese in your country. After a few generations, you are more Pinoys than anything else.

The natives people of this region do read blogs such as these and the comments made. Despite living in this region for many years and becoming citizens of the nations here, most of the Chinese people here are still more loyal to China than to the countries they have settled in and become citizens of. This blog and the comments made here have proven it. Furthermore the Chinese look down on the people in this region, even despising them despite being allowed to live and make their living here. We don't usually comment but we do read and take note of and remember. Don't feel too superior all the time. It might cloud your judgement until there might come a time when the Chinese people will have to travel back to the Muddle Kingdom in refugee boats.

Hi Anon 9:00

There is a point that needs a little clarification. There is Chinese as citizens of China and Chinese as part of the Chinese civilisation. The non Chinese, particularly the West, would lump the Chinese nationals and the Chinese diaspora that are different nationals as one entity. They could not tell the difference and also chose not to tell the difference as they are not looking upclose. And there are the bigger strategic and political interest involved.

Singaporeans, Malaysians, Pinoys, Indons, and the Thai Chinese have longed lost that connection as being citizens of China. They are nationals of their respective countries. But in some of these countries, the original residents would not want to accept them as their nationals and also insist on treating them as Chinese nationals.

The Thai, Pinoy or Indon Chinese are very similar to the local people in many ways. Some have many generations of inter marriages and look, behave and think like the locals.

Did the Chinese born and bred in the region behave arrogantly and look down on the natives? I think this is a false assumption. There are rich and poor Chinese. The rich would, like all the rich from all the races, look down on the poor. The rich Chinese would look down on the poor Chinese just the same. This is not racial but a social and economic matter.

But perceptions and thinking are built up over the years and can become ingrained into second nature when the reality is that the poor would see the rich as aloof and cocky. And many are.

Orang kaya semua ini macam punya lah. Betul tak?

Hahaha

I like Matilahs's fatwa. A very apt description of another generation of Pinoy, probably of rojak blood, speaking 'Pinglish' with hideously deformed faked American accents. Does that make them feel superior? I think it tends to lately, but in the eyes of most people here, probably not.

They are probably still suffering from an inferiority complex after so many generations of being under the foot of so many foreign conquerors. Why are Pinoys still so fond of sucking up to the West and think that they are being looked down by the Chinese? Puzzles me to no end!

It is not that most Chinese here are loyal to China. It is their hatred of the hypocrisy of the evil empire and its poodles that make them harbour such comments.

In the ST there is another exposure of the devious cyber espionage work of the Americans working hand in hand with the Israelis to cripple Iran's nuclear facilities.

This evil Empire has been doing this kind of dirty work against all the countries in the world, friend or foe, as if it is their god damn right to do so and no one else is allowed to do so.

That is why they are attacking the Chinese for spying on them recently. The Chinese did not have the capability before while the Americans were doing it since the 40s and 50s.

You can say whatever you want, Chin Leng and friends in response to what I've commented. Your daily posts and daily comments, say otherwise. Just one simple example is the great difference in you views of foreign talents in Singapore. The talents from China gets no flak from you as compared to the talents from the Philippines, India, the West, etc. Your posts and the comments posted here are bristling with prejudice and bigotry when it comes to people and countries that are not China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. And your posts on the Singapore Government reminds me of the adage by Carnegie: Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain - and most fools do.

Chua Chin Leng aka redbean said...

I am not really bothered by the lower level workers from any country. I am more concerned with the PMETs and top level positions that are increasingly going to foreigners while local PMETs are abandoned before their rightful retirement age.

I have not pick up any particular country for my criticism of foreigners working here. I stayed clear of that kind of discussion. What matters are jobs for Singaporeans first and foreigners/PRs second. And the Singaporean core must be Singaporeans and not PRs or new citizen core. I have not pointed my fingers at any country in particular and I am not sure how you got the idea that I am favouring PRC against the rest.

There is another trend of thought that I am pursuing, that is western civilisation against Chinese and Asian civilisation. I tend to refer to the Chinese civilisation as it is the target of western civilisation, and of course I have personal interest in defending it. It is bigotry? If it is, it is in reaction to western bigotry.

On the bigger picture there is a clash of civilisation going on and the world is drawn into it willingly or unwittingly. There is a war or many wars going on out there, not necessary fought in the battle field and with guns and bullets.

I take potshots quite liberally at western views and media, and in particular, American bigotry. Some may find this discomforting after being so used to one sided western media having a free hand attacking and branding whoever they want, in particular China/North Korea and the Arab/Middle East. It is just a slant that I consciously take to balance a one sided and continuous mind bending western agenda/programme.

According to history, Manila was controlled by the Brunei Kingdom during the golden age. It was defeated by the Spanish troops after putting up a strong fight by the Brunei aristocracy.

Luzon became indeoendent around that era.

The Kingdom of Maynila or Kota Seludong, was one of three major city-states that dominated the area by the lower reaches and mouth of the Pasig River before the arrival of Spanish colonizers in the 16th century. It is the site of present-day Manila, the capital of the Republic of the Philippines.

During the reign of Sultan Bolkiah (1485–1521) the Kingdom of Brunei decided to break the Kingdom of Tondo's monopoly in the Chinese trade by attacking Tondo and establishing the city-state of Seludong as a Bruneian satellite. This is narrated through Tausug and Malay royal histories, where the names Seludong, Saludong or Selurong are used to denote Manila prior to colonization.--wikipedia

What if Brunei ask for it back someday ? It is possible according to present day geo-politics

US military dimension of rebalancing involves the shifting of more US air, naval, and marine forces into the Pacific theatre, and redeploying them to less vulnerable, but still accessible positions, such Australia, and Singapore

Firstly, Jakarta could tacitly support the US camp. This option enables Jakarta to harness US military support as well as aligning itself more closely with US allies, but at a great cost of antagonizing Beijing.

Although the Indonesian military is unlikely to engage in warfighting operations, it could support ISR activities to monitor Chinese shipping and aircraft within Indonesian waters, while leaving the rest of the job to the US military. The latter in turn could help secure Indonesia’s northern flank in the South China Sea. On the flip side, China could conduct clandestine ISR activities or even sabotage in Indonesian waters, including the chokepoints, against the Allied forces.

Secondly, Jakarta could enter into Beijing’s maritime orbit, while distancing itself from the US camp. This option envisages a scenario in which China has already showered assistance to Indonesia, and expecting a return of favor. China’s courting of Indonesia of late is pronounced. Beijing has agreed to a maritime pact with Jakarta to develop Indonesia’s capacity in maritime surveillance, naval armaments, shipbuilding, and oceanography.

Returning the favor means remaining detached from the US and its allies - and even from fellow Southeast Asian states - in any activities inimical to Chinese interests. The downside is Indonesia could face violation of its sovereignty by the Allied forces to conduct unilateral maritime operations within Indonesian waters.

The “neutral” option

Thirdly, Jakarta could aggressively or passively declare its neutrality. Aggressive neutrality means enforcing the 1994 San Remo Manual on Armed Conflicts at Sea, which forbids hostile actions by belligerent forces in waters of a neutral state. There is a strong likelihood that Indonesia’s current strategic policy is pursuing this option. However, its enforcement would be painstakingly difficult.

Jakarta’s limited military resources could be strained and drained to monitor all belligerents’ ships and aircraft. And were there to be lapses which permit incidents to occur between the belligerents – while no-one claims responsibility – all fingers would be pointing toward Jakarta for not being able to strictly enforce its neutrality.

The best thing for Indonesia is to remain a neutral regional power and not be sucked into big power rivalry. With the US and PRC not in a position to push the other over the cliff, both would have to adopt the softer and friendlier approach of wooing Indonesia's friendship and not able to play hardball, either you are with me or you are against me.

The neutral approach is also what Asean stands for though several members of Asean are choosing to be allies of the big powers to extend big power aggression into the region, risking open conflict by being accomplices to war.

You have to be kidding mate. You trust these fuckers to do that? Not me. I know them too well. They will never stay "neutral" even if they profess to do so just to create an "image". They will align with the US simply because of "moneyed interests".

This is another cuntry where they send their sons and daughters to study in the US, and these fuckers come home slang slang as if they're vocal chords have been hijacked by an American speech demon.

What is it with these Asians who go overseas to the west and return with god-awful fake American accents? This is a pet peeve of mine -- I really get annoyed when I hear it, and downright pissed off if I'm being spoken to in that way. To me it demonstrates a blatant attempt to "con". Indonesians and Pinoy's are #1 when it comes to faking Yankee accents -- sick people!!

>> Asean are choosing to be allies of the big powers to extend big power aggression into the region

ASEAN is a coterie of ass kissing cock suckers lah. There are no scruples there. They would sooner throw their own citizens under a bus to protect the status quo of their powers. None of them "like" China. They are all smiles (fake) and open arms when China comes with buckets of money to invest, but ASEAN cowards will side with the USA against China if they had to make an "either-or" choice.

This is how the US will start its "play" against China: First they will attempt to disrupt the internal social order, and they will by some means instigate Muslims in provinces like Xinjiang to not only riot but commit acts of terror on Chinese soil.

The Chinese government will respond harshly -- as expected, and that would alienate them from other Muslim cuntrees. In time China will be facing hostility and aggression on more than one front.

No, no. I submit that my propensity for bigotry knows no bounds.

The only reason I haven't suggested that China or the US or some other nuclear power doesn't nuke the Philippines or Indonesia to the state of "ayam bakar" is because then horny fuckers like me will have less women to bang, and I have to admit, the ceweks from Indonesia and the Filipinas from Pinoyland and damn fine pieces of ass, and the squirting of one's cum all over that brown skin...simply a piece of sexy art.

Got bigotry to top that? ;-)

I see, we have at least homophobic bigot amongst us, and this one is a racist to boot ;-)

Please lah, if I was gay or bisexual, I definitely wouldn't be "ashamed" about it. I would be "loud and proud" -- I am a big supporter of LBGT's -- most of them are awesomely interesting people -- smart, wealthy, highly educated, motivated, and if you must know occupy some of the top tiers in business, banking, law and government, as well as art, design and the "creative" sectors.

I like pussy -- lots of it. I'm thinking of women's vagina's throughout my day, and I can't help it. I'm not attracted to males, but many of my friends, and some clients enjoy their same sex and bisexual relationships. They are entitled to their pleasures and fuck you and your entire family for looking down on these people.

This is the 21st century, gays are getting married and raising families...and you, you are still stuck in a SHAMEFUL past.

You need to change your sick attitude man. Time for you to upgrade your brain to the present time, or fuck off and die like the homophobe you are...and take your similarly diseased family with you, especially your mother whose cunt smells like a wet fish market on a hot day!!
