Strengthening the Singaporean core

This is one of the major objectives of the White Paper that aimed to have 50% foreigners and 50% Sinkies. What is the percentage of Sinkies in the population today? 3.3m out of 5.3m works out to be 62%. And we used to be more than 70% or 90%.

So, with the dwindling percentage of Sinkies in the whole population, is the White Paper strengthening the Sinkie core or weakening the Sinkie core? And don’t forget the fact that many of the Sinkies are actually new citizens, actually foreigners with very shallow roots here. So, at 50% in 2030, what is the real true blue Sinkie core, 30%?

Genocide of native Sporeans started in 2004, this continues with the new 7 million pop. disguised as White paper. There r only 2 objectives. 1) To keep the govt in power. 2) To cover all the losses from SWF, which could be owned by the Sporeans? Or could this be owned by some special companies?? Best regards to native Sporeans

There wont be any true blue Sinkies lah.
Not even now for there is no homeland, at least there has never being a nation to us.
Sin was a province in the Malay Archipelago that was tranformed into an international trading port by the British. When It(British) gave it(Sin) on a silver platter to the Local, the Latter has made it into a First Class International Hotel catering to loaded guests like Matilah Singapura.

The way to strengthen the Singaporean core
- VOTE OUT PAP

Anonymous said...

More likely 'strengthening the PAP power base' with pro-PAP foreign imports.

Don't let them mislead us again!

Now about this white paper wayang, it seems that there are so many MIW versions trying to clarify, but all I hear are contradictions, contradictions and more contradictions.

One minister said this is a 'worst case scenario'

Another said 'it is only a target'

Yet another said 'it is not a target but a projection'

You see, they obviously do not know what that white paper actually is trying to do. If they themselves do not know what it is, how can they convince Singaporeans about it's objective?

Well, so long as they are not saying it is a joke.
Maybe the Cabinet Members did not carry out their own National Conversation.
Or,
they are having splits amongst the family members.

One lie needs to cover another lie. No wonder if Pappies can't convince you, they confuse you.

Beware of another fart who says "the target is just a aspiration."

People is confusing the meaning of White paper in the context of SinCity.

The definition of White Paper is simply the A Paper written by the White, which is Men-In-White, not the usual White Paper defined universally by universal dictionary but in PAP dictionary.

Redbean,
what do you think ?

Singaporean core will be greatly strengthened if the true blue citizens are reduced to 30%.

Why not a White Paper on 3.9M population?

Anonymous said...

The idiot said that white paper indicated slower population growth but that is coming from a high growth rate plus a larger base.

THey will say whatever to justify their enormous greed even if all the people of sound mind do not believe in them anymore. Lesson to learn: Never Vote for dead frogs.

If you think now is bad be prepared for worst from PUPPIES.

Singapore Bull property & stock market can covered up a lot of mistakes, flaws, self-interests and corruption while Bull still intact.
When Bear comes more Dirt will be exposed.
GIsee, Tummysick & GLCs have lots & lots of money & assets that can profit from Bull market.

In bull markets many many hanky panky businesses can go behind the scene to the connected and interested parties to profit and "eat" money.

A bigger population is one of the easiest way to have a Bull market, besides printing money. Both basically are net wealth transferring mechanism; from the CORE public to the few rich & powerful elites.

The elites are global citizens, they can leave the SHIT behind for the rest and enjoy lives in Wonderland after all the greedy eating.

Please do not be so greedy Sirs, and eat the core of Singaporeans to non-core.

"Please do not be so greedy Sirs, and eat the core of Singaporeans to non-core."

Singaporeans have been begging for 47 years already.
Haven't you learnt?
Begging no use.
Your only hope for mercy is to vote Opposition.

Never believe what the PAP said is correct.

Today, they may say we need a 6.9 million population and they give all the wonderful reasons and every minister and MP are now singing the chorus.

Remember the things that were done by them and then completely reversed?

Let me see. The 'stop at two' population policy was the most serious miscalculation. Our present population problem stems from this wrong move.

Then we have the old hero saying that a casino can only be built in Singapore over his dead body. What happens? Total reversal, and he is not even dead, with two casinos built despite massive objections.

We had the Singapore Grand Prix at Upper Thomson Road for some years and again the old hero stopped it altogether for many years after. I do not know what the reason was, but we now have night racing. Again a total reversal.

So, can we believe the PAP?

By PAP example, then the Japanese should increase their population to 200M from current 127M !

To be filled by foreigners from china ,india and burma..

That would be totally absurd to the Japanese.

{What exactly is a 'good quality living environment'?]

"Back in 1991, when the population was 3.1 million, the planning parameter was four million and this figure was projected to be reached by 2010.

In 2000, when the population was four million, the figure of 5.5 million was used in the Concept Plan review as an estimate for the total population over the next 40 to 50 years.

Then National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan said worries that foreigners would swamp Singapore were baseless because the 5.5 million figure was not a target but an estimate for long-term planning purposes.

It will take a much shorter time than 40 years to reach the projected 5.5 million figure - the population last year stood at 5.3 million.

[How to make foreigner influx more palatable]

"SINGAPOREANS who feel that the Govt has pursued a loose immigration policy to achieve economic targets at their expense over the last decade cannot deny one fact - our ageing and shrinking population will hurt our status as a key financial and business hub, and lower our living standards if we do not top up our talent pool ("6.9m 'a worst-case scenario, not a target'"; last Saturday).

... understand that foreign workers, expatriates and permanent residents (PRs) are part of the solution, and not the problem.

"MR HO Yi Jie ("One-party system works for S'pore", last Wednesday) asserts that S'poreans have been overzealous in pointing out the faults of the PAP and have not given it sufficient credit for its many good policies. He argues that since the PAP has been fairly competent, a one-party system works best for S'pore to prevent political gridlock.

I empathise with the writer of “Retirees encouraged to work, but not wanted?” (Jan 28).

It is no secret that many older educated S'poreans face difficulty when they lose a job or want to come out of semi-retirement to find work befitting their skills and experience.

Steps must be taken to soften the dependency on foreigners, while giving the right priority to citizens who have contributed to society."
