Sinkies cannot afford to be CBF

The call for Sinkies to be cheaper, better and faster is running contrary to the high cost of living and high cost of everything. How can Sinkies ever think of surviving in a city when the cost of everything is going up and still expect to work to be cheaper, better and faster? This kind of combination can only work when the workers are foreigners who don’t have to buy expensive properties, provide for a family and may even need to buy a car for transportation.

The end result of this formula is to have very rich elite at the top and very poor foreign workers at the bottom. Those in between, the average Sinkies, will be squeezed dry trying to be cheaper but paying for everything that is getting dearer.

How, what do you think? Can Sinkies afford to be CBF?

Why Sinkies will support a political party that tells you to be cheaper, better, faster, I'll never know.

Did Nelson Mandela tell his countrymen to be cheaper, better, faster during his campaign against apartheid?

Did George Washington ask his American revolutionaries to be cheaper, better, faster during the American Revolution?

The list goes on.

Only in Singapore will 60% of us support a leadership that is embarked on a cheaper, better, faster strategy.

Do want your children & grandchildren to have as his highest calling in life; cheaper, better, faster ?

Does Laura Ong ask Michael Palmer to be cheaper, better, faster?

@anon above.
After getting conned so many times, 60% called daft, and continues to be conned.

Re-education is urgently needed.

CBF - It's a truly uniquely Singaporean concept. There are many others. Like increasing the population to grow the economy in a tiny island. National conversation. High ministers pay. GRCs. Part time MPs. AIM. Leepotism. COEs. ERPs.......

Upgrade, rsise skills, get higher qualification, shift industries to higher value product and services to raise income of workers.

Nowadays go for upgrading courses only to downgrade to lower paying jobs.

CBF is a race to the bottom. This is the anti thesis of a meritocracy.

What is a better choice is to get better and raise the value through improving the quality, through innovation, and earning a stellar reputation based on integrity to keep loyal customers returning.

Fast? Nowadays everything is fast. If you innovate, you have to be fast to bring to market...or you're out of the game.

Cheap == bang for buck. i.e. VALUE in the eyes of the consumer.

Singaporeans are job-snobs. They won't take certain well-paying jobs because of....I don't know wtf hw these weirdos think.

If you want to foster entrepreneurship which is THE ONLY SUSTAINABLE WAY wealth can be created in a society, then Singaporeans have to shut the fuck up more and do more, improving as they go (hopefully).

Bringing in foreigners to kick these lazy, snobbish, spoilt local motherfuckers in the back -- to expose them to toe-to-toe competition was a BRILLIANT MOVE by the government.

Got quality-based competitive edge?

Perhaps we should all CBL -- Cho Bo Lan

Only lesser mortals can be CBF whereas god and demigod is ELS (Expensive, Lousy and Slower)

Why must be CBF? BF not enough? Sinkies are not cheapo and do not like to be one. I wonder how much familee raked in on legal and other fees from the sale of state owned assets to foreign companies. If PAP is cheapo, we should only pay them $1k per month per head.

It is common knowledge that people who posts those spicy pics are seriously suffering from mid life crisis and EDS.

That's not the ONLY attribute I'm obsessed with, I also take into account, the texture, the quality of "pink-ness", the viscosity of the effluent discharge (clear and sticky is good)...and most importantly whether the face of the ji bai's owner falls in the realm of "cute" or "come fuck me")

Anyway, the Logical Fallacy you've committed is the Red Herring
