Kenneth Jeyaretnam attacks WP

‘Reform Party Chief Kenneth Jeyaretnam has launched a tirade against the Workers Party (WP) for not doing anything for Punggol East residents’. This is quoted from an Editorial in TRE.

Kenneth has a double first from Cambridge, so he must have a very intelligent mind. So, why is he attacking the WP and not the PAP? I think the reason is simple, he must have thought that the WP is the front runner and he is competing with the front runner in the election. Only by beating the front runner can he win the contest. He cannot be attacking a loser to be the next best loser in the contest. That would be quite a silly thing to do.

Given that Kenneth is an intelligent man, he must have read the situation very well. He claimed that he had done more for Punggol East than the WP and had raised the stalled renovation work at Riverdale Plaza and the WP had not done so. What could the WP do when it is not the MP of the constituency, not the ruling govt, not the
Town Council? The best the WP could do is to kpkb just like he had done and that is about it. It is the job and responsibility of the MP and Town Council to get the job done. Why didn’t Kenneth attack the PAP for the stalled renovation work?

Maybe he already knew that the PAP will lose this by election. So there is no need to waste time pulling the PAP down. It is a contest between Kenneth’s Reform Party and the Workers Party.  I hope this is true. But I am no double first so I am unable to see the picture as clearly as Kenneth. PAP sure lose this time if Kenneth is right.

The voters could see more of Kenneth going after the WP. But Low Thia Kiang is likely to ignore him as his target is the PAP. So the WP would be attacking the PAP in full force and allowing the RP to attack them on the flank. Hope Low Thia Kiang is right and the attack by the RP will not cause any dent to his campaign.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Reminds me of a drowning man clutching on to straws.

Chin Leng:

You are giving too much, veru excessive credit to Kenneth.

He is attacking WP for his own Reform Party to win?

He will have to pray to have his deposit back and to retire from politic for the good of Singapore and himself.

Already lost hope on KJ. Regret donating money in last election to support him no matter how small the amount seem.

His action is no different from PAP mole.
His motive is for all to see. His political career is essentially over, no doubt about it. I only vote him if he is the only party to contest, but if there is better party like party like SDP or WP, RP can go fly kite. Fancy such person can only create vote dilution and how does that help Singaporeans ?

Remind me of hong kong movie "internal affair".

He is totally in his own wonderland.

The word "Intelligent" should be use to describe you,Patriot instead.

That man got intelligent mind? Many do not know what is the meaning of being intelligent.
Any way I do not think highly of anyone who wish to serve but get paranoia over threat and insults.

KJ and his RP is history the moment he entered the race. It is very stupid of him. I was at his rally last GE and I also made a small donation and I regret it. He is not cut out to be a political leader (cannot even sense what the ground wants) and it is best that he fades away, after losing this election terribly together with his deposit.

I will still continue to support SDP and I think it is not their intention to contest at all, they just want to gain some attention here and I guess it is because of their early showing of interest in contesting that Pinky called for election (thinking there will be multi-cornered fights to give higher chances of PAP winning). I also looking forward to seeing Vincent W. and Dr Chee in Parliament, they are the real fighters.

Knn that is all I can say

KJ, you can change your party's name to RIP. You are going to RIP also. So please do not pull the wrong leg. Please pull the MIW's leg to go RIP with you.

WTF you are trying to do.

The more I hear his speech, the more I think a Brit is campaigning, not a Singaporean. He sound so bloody foreign to me. I am sure residents of Punggol cannot connect with him. Gone case lah. He will lose his deposit and his pants too. Mark my word. No?

He is one of those suffering from permanent head damage although he has not earned himself one.

Dear Redbean

Chee Soon Juan and the SDP have given us a very clear view of the situation. By staying out of the race, Dr Chee showed us that whoever adds to the multi-corner fight is assisting the PAP. By making his move one day before nomination day, he had also left enough time for RP and SDA to observe, understand and emulate.

Now that RP and SDA show their hands, we know very clearly who they are working for.

KJ and RP are finished, Singaporeans now know who they work for. And that goes for whoever show their faces in support of KJ.

DL and SDA were already finished even before this By-election. Whoever is funding them are just wasting their money. DL will split the vote, but the votes he gets will be split from what would have been spoilt votes anyway. There will always be voters who do not want to vote for PAP or WP, they will spoil their votes. DL will get a proportion from this pool.

I truly wonder what the sons of KJ and DL will think about their fathers when they grow up to be adults?

KJ is talking about building many nurseries in Punggol East if he is elected. This is a joke. The PA would never allow that because he is competing with their own. Apart from the PA, would the HDB give him the space to do so when they even refused to give the elected MP in Hougang a proper place to conduct his Meet the people weekly sessions. This guy is obviously talking through his arse. He needs the PAP arse doctor to give him a thorough arse check.
